Naalala pa ba ninyo ang Love Bus noong 1990s? Ano kaya ang kinalaman nito sa love ng Diyos? Tara, alamin natin as we continue our series “God Loves You”.

Mga minamahal, mag-ibigan tayo sapagkat mula sa Diyos ang pag-ibig. Ang bawat umiibig ay anak ng Diyos at kumikilala sa Diyos.

1 Juan 4:7

Noong early 1980s, may blue buses na bumibiyahe mula Escolta hanggang Cubao, and from Cubao back to Escolta. Sa exterior ng blue buses na ito ay may mga nakapintang hugis-puso at may nakasulat: Love Bus.

The Love Bus was the first air-conditioned bus in the city with cushioned seats and piped-in music. Kung may kasakay kang crush, or ka-date na chicks, perfect ang Love Bus dahil ang mga upuan sa Love Bus ay pangdalawahan lang. In short, wala kayong katabing makakaistorbo sa inyo.

But the Love Bus didn’t stay long; it stopped operating in the early 1990s. Di gaya ng Love Bus, God will never stop loving us. Ang operation Niya, unceasing, never-ending. Hindi ka Niya lalayasan dahil naging unfaithful ka. He will remain faithful to you and keep loving you. Bago pa nga tayo magkasala sa Kanya, God had already forgiven us our sins (Romans 5:8). Kasi His Son Jesus paid already the penalty for all our sins—past, present, and future (1 John 2:2). All we have to do is admit our sins and accept Jesus as the payment for our sins.

Kapag tinanggap mo si Jesus as your Savior, God will live in you and cause His kind of love to spring forth from your new heart. By His grace, you can forgive, you can stop from keeping a record of others’ mistakes, you can trust again, you can hope again. God’s love in you enables you to love others too, with His kind of love. It’s something na matututunan mong gawin. Unti-unti. Basta sakay ka lang sa God’s Love Bus.
