Awit 5:12
“In case of emergency, break glass.” In many places, there are different measures to ensure everyone’s safety.
Bakit nga ba nakalagay ang mga ito? Because it’s important that people have a way to deal with emergencies and other unexpected problems. In life, we are vulnerable to face challenges that can consume our time and energy. The question now is if we are ready to face them. In our daily lives, do we also have safety measures in place to deal with “emergencies”? It starts with having the proper mindset.
Let’s learn from the words of the psalmist who said, “The Lord is my strength and shield. I trust him with all my heart…” (Psalm 28:7, NLT). As the verse mentioned,t God Himself is our shield. A shield is a tool that can help protect someone from the blows of the enemyr. And also, God is our strength. We do not have to depend on our own strength but draw our strength from Him. In His presence, we are assured that we are not only safe and protected but also strengthened.
In every season of our lives, we can lean on God no matter what. When facing uncertainties, we can draw near to Him and not be afraid.
LET’S PRAY
Dear Jesus, I trust that You can carry me through in my season right now. Help me not worry, but to believe that You are with me in every step of the way. Amen.
