Wala na sigurong sasarap pa sa taong tapat makisama. But how can we be faithful? Let’s find out from today’s devotion as we continue our series on “Fruit of the Spirit.”

Subalit ang bunga ng Espiritu ay … katapatan.

Mga Taga-Galacia 5:22

Faithfulness is more than just showing up; it’s about being dependable and trustworthy in all circumstances. It’s about being true to our word and loyal in our relationships, whether with friends, family, or even in our work.

Imagine a friend who always keeps his promises, who stands by you in good times and bad, and who you can always rely on for support — that’s faithfulness in action. Noong isang taon, ipinangako ni Adel sa kaibigan niya na tutulong ito sa kanya sa kanyang proyekto kahit na napakabusy nito. Kahit na may sariling challenges itong kinakaharap at sa gitna ng pagod, tinupad niya ang kanyang pangako. Alam ni Adel na mahalaga ang tiwala at pagiging matapat sa mga taong malapit sa kanya.

The Holy Spirit helps us remember to keep our promises. Whether they’re big or small, people like Adel make sure to do what they say. Being dependable is important.

Do you try to always be on time and stick to your commitments? Are you loyal in your relationships and believe in being honest and open in how you deal with others? One way to do this is by paying attention to the Spirit’s nudges to stay faithful and listen carefully to His guidance.

Sa ating pag-aaral sa bunga ng Espiritu na ito, let’s remember na ang katapatan ay hindi lamang isang gawa kundi isang bagong puso na itinanim sa atin ng ating Panginoon. Sa bawat hakbang na ating ginagawa, hayaan nating maging gabay ang Kanyang Espiritu para maging tapat tayo sa lahat ng aspeto ng ating buhay.

God is faithful even when we are not. But praise God, for He gives us the fruit of faithfulness through the Holy Spirit. May we express this faithfulness to God in word and in deed. See you tomorrow!
