Sinong Kasama Mo?
Napapansin niya na after the service, may mga grupong nagkukuwentuhan at parang sobrang close nila. Later on, she r ealized these people are part of a small group.
Hesitant si Gigi mag-join ng small group kasi baka ma-judge siya because of her past. Dagdag pa rito, introverted pa ang personality niya. So she didn’t see the need to be a part of a small group. After all, feeling niya ay OK naman ang buhay-Cristiano niya. That is, until the Lord spoke to her in one of the Sunday services to sign up for a small group.
Marami siyang wrong impressions about small groups ang na-debunk. Na-experience rin niya ang benefits of being part of a small group. Aside from studying the Bible together, natuto rin siyang maging accountable sa grupo. She was comfortable sharing her personal struggles without fear of being judged. Naging open din siya to hear constructive criticisms said in love.
Gigi acknowledges the role of the small group in her life. It has been a blessing and she is looking forward to having her own group someday. She wants to be a channel of blessing to other women, too.
LET’S PRAY
Lord, thank You for the opportunity to be guided by other people in our spiritual journey. Humble me so I can be teachable and become a blessing to You and to other people. Use my life to encourage them to trust You and lean on You more. Thank You, Lord. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
APPLICATION
Connect with people who are part of a small group in church or a community. Ask if you can sit in and observe. Be open to learn and to become a part of the group in the future. Or if you are not part of a Bible-believing church yet, plan to attend one.
