“Maging ang buhok ninyo’y bilang niyang lahat. Kaya’t huwag kayong matakot; higit kayong mahalaga kaysa mga maya.”

Naaalala mo pa ba noong natutunan mo kung paanong magbilang? Nakaka-excite na umabot sa 100, parang ang laking achievement! But now, parang hindi na masaya ang magbilang. Kasi hindi na basta numbers ang binibilang natin. We now count our salary, our bill payments, and even count the number of maintenance medicines we take!

But do you know that our God also counts a lot of things?

God counts the number of stars in the sky (Psalm 147:4). Pero hindi lang kumukuha ng attendance record si Lord kundi He knows every detail of the universe and controls it by His power (Colossians 1:17). He does this to preserve life and balance. When God counts, He counts what matters.

God counts not only what matters to Him but also what matters to us. Tuwing may mabigat tayong dinadala, nabibilang din ni Lord ang ating mga panalangin at iyak sa Kanya (Psalm 56:8). He cares for each one of us. That is the amazing love of God.

All of our worries and anxieties are not hidden in His sight. When God said that even the number of our hairs are numbered (Luke 12:7), it means nakikita tayo ni Lord at naiintindihan Niya ang mga pinagdadaanan natin. This is why we can always count on Him. He will always provide for what we need.

Today, if you are at the end of your rope, trust that you can count on the God who can count.
