Napanood mo na ba ang Heavenly Ever After, a Korean rom-com fantasy series? Namatay ang isang senior couple one after the other but were eventually reunited in heaven as husband and wife. It showed them going through a somewhat rocky marriage in heaven. Isang dahilan ay ang pagpili ni misis na mabuhay as her 80-year-old self while si mister chose to be in his 30s.

In this series, ang “heavenly” life nila ay walang pinagkaiba sa buhay sa mundo. May jealousy. Tinatagong sikreto. ‘Di pagkakaunawaan. Tampuhan. Grief. Even self-blame for wanting to walk away.  

Ang icing on the cake ay ang sinabi ng center director of heaven na there is lifetime after lifetime to make things right. At hanggang hindi mo tinatanggap ang masasakit na nangyari sa buhay o babaguhin ang ‘di magandang pag-uugali, patuloy itong mangyayari sa next life cycle.
