Think Before You Click
Nagiging sikat ito dahil many people have access to social media. A keyboard warrior is a person na madalas mag-post ng mga negative comments sa iba. The reasons may be out of jealousy, insecurity, or hatred for others.
Si Amanda ay isang active Facebook user at madalas siyang mag-post ng mga achievements niya, whether yung mga maliliit na bagay or most especially, ang mga important events sa buhay niya. For her, it is sharing about God’s goodness in her life to inspire others. Kailangan mo pa bang i-post yang success mo?” While reading, napa-heart check siya on how to respond. She has all the means to fight back and be a keyboard warrior too pero what she did was different. She simply said, “Alam mo, gusto ko lang sabihin na I am praying for you!” And she meant it!
Wow, what a response! Is that even possible now? Yes, with God’s help, we can have self-control in our daily lives. Nakikita natin ang tanong sa Facebook na, “What’s on your mind?” Kaya nga, think before you click kasi kailangan natin munang isipin bago natin i-share ang sariling thoughts or comments natin sa iba.
Paano natin ito gagawin? First, seek to understand. Intindihin muna natin ang nasabi. Next, maging careful sa isusulat mong post, and remember that when someone comments on your own post, better not to react negatively immediately. Say no to being a keyboard warrior and instead, be a God’s love-sharer today!
LET’S PRAY
Make me an encouragement and be a blessing today!
