Tingnan mo at lasapin ang kabutihan ni Yahweh; mapalad ang mga taong nananalig sa kanya.

“Ladies and gentlemen, we have begun our descent into Legazpi City,” the pilot announced. First time ni Aya na makarating sa Albay kung saan makikita mula sa iba’t ibang kalapit na municipalities ang tinaguriang world’s most perfect volcanic cone — ang Mayon Volcano.

Mula sa malayo, natanaw na ni Aya at ng ibang passengers ang Mayon Volcano. “Ang ganda,” nasambit niya. Pero lalong namangha si Aya nang lumapit pa lalo ang kanilang eroplano sa matayog na bulkan. To take advantage of that cloudless day, the pilot announced that they were flying a little closer to Mayon Volcano so that the passengers could enjoy the view. Napanganga si Aya nang makita nga niya nang malapitan ang majestic Mayon — hindi siya tuloy agad nakakuha ng picture!

lang beses nang nakita ng pilot ang napakagandang Mayon Volcano na isa sa ipinagmamalaking tourist spots ng Pilipinas. So, that time, he took the extra mile para ma-enjoy din ng mga pasahero ang kakaibang ganda ng Mayon na nilikha ng Diyos. In a sense, para rin siyang si David, ang sumulat ng Psalm 134 (NIV) when he said, “Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him” (v. 8). David testified how the Lord delivered him from trouble, and by doing so, he magnified the Lord. When He was here on earth, Jesus magnified the love of God the Father when He humbled Himself and obeyed Him by dying on the cross (Philippians 2:8). Ginawa Niya iyon dahil mahal Niya tayo.

Similarly, how can we be like David and the pilot? What steps can we do to let other people see the wonder of God? How is Jesus leading you today to make Him known to people around you?
