We all want good service. Pero paano nga ba tayo talaga makakapaglingkod sa ating kapwa nang buong puso? Let’s find out from our series “Serve Like Jesus.”

Ako nga ang puno ng ubas at kayo ang mga sanga. Ang nananatili sa akin, at ako sa kanya, ang siyang nagbubunga nang sagana, sapagkat wala kayong magagawa kungkayo’y hiwalay sa akin.

Juan 15:5

We all want good service. We expect it from our family members, our government, our friends. Para maging mahusay ang serbisyo, kailangang galing ito sa puso at hindi sa nguso.

But if we want to be served well, do we also serve well? How can we serve others well? To serve others well means applying the high-quality standard of service of Jesus. We can only do this if we are not separate from Him. So, serving from the heart is only truly possible when we first accept Jesus into our hearts. Then we can serve as if Jesus were our big boss.

The secret to serving well is to abide in Jesus. Kapag nasa puso na natin si Jesus, ang tibok ng puso Niya at tibok ng ating puso ay magiging isa. We would be one with Jesus in thought, word, and deed. Mangyayari ito kung tayo ay patuloy na nagbabasa ng Kanyang Salita at sinusunod natin ito.

Pareho ba tayo ng tibok ng puso ni Jesus? Nagbubunga ba tayo ng magandang gawa? Kung hindi, baka nakahiwalay pa tayo sa puno. Pero kung nasa puso na natin si Cristo, magiging katulad natin Siya sa pag-serve sa ibang tao. We will serve well. Remember, si Jesus ang puno at tayo ang mga sanga. Kung ano ang puno, siya din ang bunga.
