Ako na ba Si Mr./Ms. Right?

Matapos gawin ang lahat ng ito, sinabi ng PANGINOONG Yahweh, “Hindi mabuti na mag-isa ang tao; bibigyan ko Siya ng isang angkop na makakasama at makakatulong.”

Genesis 2:18 

Kilig na kilig tayo sa mga love stories ng K-drama na sobra ang panunuyo ng lalaking bida sa leading lady niya. Somehow, reflection ito on how we long to have a partner in real life. Ang magandang balita, ang romantic love na gusto nating ma-experience is a gift that also came from God. Are you waiting for the right one na makakasama mo sa buhay? Here are the three S that could encourage us in our quest for love:

1. Shape your relationship with marriage in mind — Matthew 19:6b (NIV) says, “Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.” Let us take time to know if he/she is really the one para maiwasan natin ang makasakit at masaktan.
2. Stop looking for Mr./Ms. Right. Instead be the right person yourself —Maaaring single pa tayo ngayon, praying for whoever our God’s best may be. As we are still in the season of waiting, we can focus our energy on Jesus. Our love and submission to Him is a good practice para sa pagdating ng future spouse natin. When we do this, si God ang bahalang mag-alaga at mag-lead ng tamang tao para sa atin.

And for those who are being challenged in their marriage, this is a good reminder to focus on our role as a spouse. Mahirap baguhin ang asawa natin, but God definitely can.

 

3. Share the love you contain — Sabi nila, “We cannot give what we do not have.” But since the Lord has poured out His love on us and made us complete, we are able to share that love to our partners.
