Then our three-day series is for you. Let’s listen now as we begin our series “When Your Life Seems to Fall Apart.”

What did I do to deserve this?”

When our lives seem to fall apart, we question God and His goodness. We blame Him when things don’t go our way. She was devastated and raised her fist at the Lord. “My children do not deserve this life. Why did You allow this to happen?”

Instead of owning up to his sin, Adam blamed God for creating Eve (Genesis 3:12).

We can learn two things today. One, there are sinners who minimize the effect of their sins on the people close to them. For some of us, akala natin na solo act ang sin and walang ibang tao ang madadamay. The truth is sin damages relationships and families. Unfortunately, our sins and those of others who sin against us will forever change our story.

Two, God holds us accountable, and we cannot escape the consequences of our choices. We also cannot blame God or anyone for our actions. But despite how much we hurt God, His mercies are new every morning (Lamentations 3:22–23). We come to Him in humility to seek forgiveness. There is no quick fix to sin’s effects. It is a long and winding journey of healing and restoration. But just as He extended grace to Adam and Eve, He also lavishes us with His grace. Oh, what a gracious God we have!

We hope you’ll tune in again tomorrow for the continuation of our series “When Your Life Seems to Fall Apart.” And don’t forget to invite a friend to listen.

LET’S PRAY

Lord, forgive me for blaming You when things don’t go my way. Help me understand that all my sins and those of others affect other people. Show me a way out when I am about to sin and protect my family, too. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.
