Kinalugdan ng Diyos ang mga tao noong unang panahon dahil sa kanilang pananampalataya.

Mga Hebreo 11:2 (MBB)

Isang kaibigan ang nagtanong, “Bakit may mga taong parang masyadong blessed at pinapaboran ni Lord? Hindi sila mayaman pero kapag nagkuwento sila lagi nilang  sinasabi na si Lord talaga ang nagbigay nito. Talaga ba? By faith lahat? Samantalang ikaw ang todo effort makuha lang ang gusto mo.”

Sometimes what we see and hear is just half of the story. Ang hindi natin alam, those people who receive by faith are often the ones who have willingly gone the extra mile to believe that Jesus is able to make the impossible possible. Kadalasan sila ‘yung mga taong nakaranas ng matinding pagsubok sa buhay pero lagi nilang pinipili na manampalataya. They know the Lord by heart, and they desire to reciprocate the love they are receiving  from Him.

May mga nagtataas ng kilay sa mga taong sumusugal magtiwala na may kayang gawin ang Panginoon sa sitwasyon. Marahil para sa kanila hindi naman praktikal to just have faith. Totoonaman! Faith must be coupled with action. But for people who are fully reliant on Jesus, kahit imposible na ma-reverse ang sitwasyon buong-buo pa rin ang tiwala nila that the Lord can move the situation if He wills it to give it to them.

There are countless testimonies about the Lord’s faithfulness. Some people receive in faith, and others reluctantly believe. Being faithful is far from being practical, but the most practical decision is to have faith in Jesus. Kontrolin man natin ang buhay, si Lord pa rin ang may final say sa lahat. May choice tayo: we can live by faith, or we can figure things out on our own. But only one path leads to peace and lasting hope.
