The organizer expressed her willingness to help and never mentioned money, ‘yung bang volunteer vibes ang dating, until weeks later when she disclosed that they have to pay for her services. While sometimes it is necessary and fair to request for financial compensation for services rendered, it is reasonable to make this known beforehand.

The Bible called people wise whenever they voluntarily come forward for the work of the Lord. Not only is it considered to be an act of humility but also coming from a place of love. Sa Exodus ay mababasa natin ang paggawa ng mga kagamitan para sa Tent of Meeting and the amazing thing that happened when people responded.

Iniutos ng Diyos ang paghahandog ng precious metals, expensive cloths and animal skins, acacia wood, oil and perfume, and jewelry.

On the other hand, maraming gumagawa ng kabutihan thinking that God’s blessing will come because of it. He will bless the work of their hands, and bring glory to His name. When you do the Lord’s work, come from a place of love because you will not be tired and feel shortchanged. God will energize and reward you.
