Galit Ka? OK Lang ‘Yan
Anger is a normal human emotion. Kahit si Jesus nagalit, like when He saw moneychangers in the temple (John 2:13–17) or when people were looking for something to accuse Him when He healed on a Sabbath (Mark 3:1–5). We get angry when something wrong is done to us, like betrayal, disrespect, injustice, or unfair treatment. That feeling isn’t sinful in itself.
But here’s the thing: what we do with that anger matters. Will we speak with grace or with poison? Will we let it simmer or surrender it to God?
The Apostle Paul reminds us not to let the sun go down while we’re still angry. Why? Because unprocessed anger hardens into bitterness. And when bitterness takes root, it poisons our joy, damages relationships, and gives the enemy a foothold.
We can’t always control what triggers our anger, but we can choose how to respond. Let’s pause. Pray. Process. Talk it out with the offending person in love. Forgive. Learn to let go. Kapag natutunan nating ibigay kay Lord ang galit natin, we protect our peace and honor Him with our character. Remember, He wants to see a godly character in us.
LET’S PRAY
Lord, thank You for understanding my emotions. Teach me to process my anger in ways that honor You. Help me forgive quickly, speak kindly, and let go of what I can’t control. Guard my heart and keep my peace. Amen.
APPLICATION
Talk to God about it. Then take one step to resolve it: send a message, say a prayer, or simply release it to the Lord. Don’t let the enemy gain a foothold in your heart.
