Sapagkat namumuhay tayo batay sa pananampalataya sa Panginoon at hindi sa mga bagay na nakikita.

Gustung-gusto ng batang si Dream na kunin ang basket of candies sa may long table ng resort. Pero bago siya makarating doon, may tila river pool na kailangan niyang tawirin. Tinatawag siya ng tatay niya na nasa kabilang side of the pool, pero sumagot siya, “Ayaw ko po, Daddy. Hindi po ako marunong lumangoy.” Still, her dad cheered for her, “Kaya mo iyan anak! Just take that one step and you will see.” But because she was afraid, she did not dare to set her foot into the water. Not until makita niyang lumalakad ang kapatid niyang si Brave papunta sa same goal niya. It turns out, below the knee lang pala ang taas ng tubig.

A lot of times, gaya tayo ni Dream. Maraming opportunities ahead of us, pero hindi natin gustong umalis kung nasaan na tayo dahil takot tayong malunod. We fear the unknown. May wisdom naman talaga sa pagsisigurado. But the thing is, when our Father in Heaven calls us to do something, we have to be reminded that He meant it for good. At hindi Niya tayo kailanman ipapahamak. He encourages us to cross that river pool because He is sure that we can do it.

May kailangan ka rin bang tawirin today? Maybe it is time to get out of that comfort zone. Take courage and believe that God will be there on the other side.
