Mateo 18:3.

In one farm in Bicol, there is a playground with this signage: “Playground of Young Adults and not so Young”. They look and feel so relaxed.

Young adults man tayo or much older, we can learn something from the children. Ang paalala nga ng Panginoong Jesus, becoming like little children is the way to enter the kingdom of heaven. How can we be child-like?

First, we can be child-like in the way we entrust our concerns to the heavenly Father.

As we grow old and mature, we work for a living. But children don’t work, at umaasa lang sa sustento ng kanilang mga magulang. Remember, when we were children, we used to trust our parents to take good care of us? In the same manner, let us trust our Heavenly Father. He is always concerned about us, His children. Kaya naman we can trust Him to provide all our needs.

Second, we can be child-like by always taking time to play and rest.

As we grow old and mature, we take on more responsibilities. Most of the time, we don’t have the chance to rest. Kaya let us be child-like by taking time to play and rest. Our loving Father gave us seven days a week. Sa loob ng isang linggo, may time to work and may time to play. We may have many concerns, but take time to play and be carefree. We can rest in our heavenly Father knowing He’ll take care of everything.

Seryosohin natin ang sinabi ni Jesus: Let us be like little children.

LET’S PRAY

Heavenly Father, thank You that I can be like a child na masayahin, mahilig maglaro, at mapagtiwala. I can relax in Your presence. You are my rest and my comfort. I entrust to You my life and my everyday concerns. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
