Makasalanan Ngunit Pinatawad
Lucas 5:20
Kilala natin si Jesus bilang isang great healer.
Ang healing moment na iyon turned out to be also a moment of receiving forgiveness.
Today, many people are becoming more and more tolerant of sins. There’s a tendency not to label sin but to rather find an excuse for the sinful behavior. You will be bashed if you name sin, at kung tayo naman ang nagkamali, there’s a tendency to use the victim card.
But Jesus is always on the side of truth and love.
In Mark 2:1 Jesus said: “Healthy people don’t need a doctor — sick people do. I have come to call not those who think they are righteous, but those who know they are sinners.” The Lord Jesus has divine power to save and heal. He died on the cross for our sins. His love will always lead us to recognize that we are sinful and in need of His forgiveness first.
We all need Jesus Christ. Let’s not shy away from admitting our sin/s before His loving and merciful throne; He is more than willing to redeem and restore us.
LET’S PRAY
Lord Jesus, I humbly ask for forgiveness of my sins. I let pride in, and I have forgotten what You’ve done on the cross to save me. Lead my heart, and renew my mind. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
APPLICATION
Sift through your heart to see if there’s any sin that you need to confess to the Lord. Repent and receive Jesus’ forgiveness.
