Lucas 16:10

According to various research, it’s estimated to take between three and four years for a start-up business to be profitable. If you’re planning for a PhD program, it typically takes four to seven years to complete, depending on other factors. When it comes to growing apples naman, standard size trees can take up to eight years to bear fruit. But one thing is common: It takes time to complete something or achieve something great.

Bago magtagumpay sa anumang aspeto sa buhay, may pinagdadaanan tayong proseso. Most of the time, we begin with something small. Sabi sa Zechariah 4:10 (NLT), “Do not despise these small beginnings, for the Lord rejoices to see the work begin, to see the plumb line in Zerubbabel’s hand.” The returning exiles of Israel were reminded na huwag hamakin ang small steps in rebuilding the temple of God under Zerubbabel’s leadership.

God honors baby steps. Despite His grandness and bigness, hindi disappointed si Lord sa maliliit na bagay na ginagawa natin for His glory. As a matter of fact, He rejoices to see us starting even with something little.

As we start small, let us do it with integrity. Maging tapat tayo (Luke 16:10). If we are starting a business, ipa-register natin at magbayad tayo ng tax. If we are still studying, maging responsible students by reviewing before the exams at huwag mandaya. If we are planting something, aralin natin ang proper care sa mga halaman.

Let us believe that God will do big things as we embrace our humble beginnings.

LET’S PRAY

Thank You, Jesus.
