Applicable ba ang “age doesn’t matter” sa usapang pangarap? May edad at deadline nga ba to achieve great things?

May inspiring real-life story about a woman who paused her dream of becoming a lawyer when she became a mother, forty years ago. She finally fulfilled her dream of becoming a lawyer at sixty-five years old.

In the Bible, Joseph was thirty years old when he entered the service of Pharaoh king of Egypt (Genesis 41:46). He waited on God for thirteen years and experienced a lot of hardships before becoming a prime minister.

Joseph was a dreamer (Genesis 37). Hindi niya sinasadyang ma-offend ang mga kapatid when he dreamt that they would bow to him someday. Because of jealousy, they planned to kill him, but Reuben intervened and suggested na ihulog na lang siya sa balon and was eventually sold as a slave. During his slavery, he was accused of rape by the wife of Potifar, his master (Genesis 39). Nakulong siya despite his innocence, but the Lord was with him and gave him success in whatever he did (Genesis 39:21–23). After several years of waiting, nakalaya siya when he correctly interpreted the Pharaoh’s dream and was appointed as an overseer.

Like Joseph, some of us may be frustrated dahil na-pause ang pag-abot sa mga pangarap natin. Dahil siguro sa financial difficulties, health conditions, emergency family situations, a victim of power trip at work or school, or simply because we are in a crossroad at hindi alam kung ano talaga ang gusto natin. Don’t be discouraged, there is a God who sees and listens to us. He is with us as we obey and trust in Him (Jeremiah 17:7–8). Huwag matakot sa delays dahil may dahilan ang bawat minuto, oras, at taon ng ating paghihintay (2 Peter 3:8–9).
