Tiningnan sila ni Jesus at sinabi sa kanila, “Hindi ito kayang gawin ng tao, ngunit hindi ito imposible sa Diyos. Sapagkat ang lahat ng bagay ay kayang gawin ng Diyos.”

Jared was diagnosed with varicocele. A varicocele is when veins become enlarged inside your scrotum (the pouch of skin that holds your testicles) and may cause poor development of a testicle, low sperm production or other problems that may lead to infertility. Having this condition, Jared and his wife, who has autoimmune disease, felt like having a child is near to impossible. Dahil pareho silang may health condition, they both surrendered their desire of conceiving a child sa Panginoon.

Lo and behold, God gave them a miracle baby through normal delivery! And all throughout his wife’s pregnancy, hindi umatake kahit minsan ang autoimmune disease nito na isa din sa kanilang concern. What a miracle!

Why can we believe that miracles still do happen up to this modern day? First of all, it’s because we have a miracle-working God. During the time of Moses, God performed many miracles, among them when He divided the waters para makatakas ang mga Israelite mula kay Pharaoh ng Egypt. Jesus also performed various miracles by turning water into wine, healing the sick, and raising the dead. And this miracle-working God revealed that He never changes and that He never lies. “Si Jesu-Cristo ay hindi magbabago kailanman; siya ay kahapon, ngayon, at bukas” (Mga Hebreo 13:8). Ganoon din, “Ang Diyos ay di sinungaling na tulad ng tao. Anumang sabihin niya’y kanyang gagawin, kung mangako man siya, ito’y kanyang tutuparin” (Mga Bilang 23:19).

Tunay na kahanga-hanga ang Diyos. The word “impossible” does not exist in His dictionary. However, let us not forget to acknowledge His sovereignty and allow Him to do things His way.
