No Other Name

One of my Christian friends loves to attend praise and worship concerts. Sobrang feel na feel niya ang mag-worship sa isang malaking arena. But another friend doesn’t like such concerts. Ayaw niya ng maingay. Ang gusto niya ‘yung lumang hymns o mga kanta ni Don Moen lang. Sino sa tingin mo ang tunay na nagtataas sa Pangalan ni Jesus?
Answer: Both of them!
We Christians are not all the same. May mga Christian na Baptist, Methodist, Pentecostal, at iba pa. Some like hymns, while others like modern praise and worship. May mga kapatid tayo na iba ang administration and guidelines sa kanilang mga church. Ngunit bilang mga Christian, we all believe in one very important truth: Jesus is our Lord and Savior. We worship no other Name.
He is real. Siya lang ang nagbibigay ng kaligtasan sa tao. Sabi nga ni Pablo, ang katotohanan ay na kay Jesus (Mga Taga-Efeso 4:21). Dapat lang na tama ang theology natin, and there are certain doctrines that are very important. But at the end of the day, there are things we will never know for sure, not until we see God face to face. But what we do know, without a doubt, is the truth that Jesus is the Son of God who became flesh to redeem us from sin and give us eternal life.

LET’S PRAY
Lord Jesus, in You and You alone we find truth. There is no other Name but the Name of Jesus by which we must be saved. Salamat po sa Inyong banal na Pangalan, O Diyos!

Jesus is not just a doctrine or a belief system—He is Truth! (John 14:6) How did He save you? How has He changed you? When was the last time you told others about Jesus and His work in your life? Remember a specific time in your life and share one of your personal faith experiences with at least one person this month.
