Jesus is risen! Ito ang mensahe ng Resurrection Sunday. At kaakibat nito ay ang kapayapaang kay Jesus lamang nagmumula. Let’s listen to today’s devotion.

Kinagabihan ng araw ng Linggo, ang mga alagad ay nagkakatipon. Nakasara ang mga pinto ng bahay na kanilang pinagtitipunan dahil sa takot nila sa mga Judio. Dumating si Jesus at tumayo sa kalagitnaan nila. “Sumainyo ang kapayapaan! sabi niya.”

When Jesus rose from the dead, He did not just conquer sin and death. He also brought peace that surpasses all understanding. After His Resurrection, nagpakita si Jesus sa mga takot at nagtatagong mga disciple, at ang unang sinabi ni Jesus sa kanila ay “Sumainyo ang kapayapaan!” Imagine their fear, confusion, and guilt. They had scattered, denied, and doubted Him. Yet Jesus met them not with anger but with peace.

Maybe today, you are carrying fear, regret, or anxiety. May pinagdadaanan ka bang mabigat, where peace feels far away? Here is the good news: the same Jesus who stood in the middle of that scared group of disciples and spoke peace is the same Jesus who stands with you today.  

The Resurrection proves that nothing is too dead for God to restore. Kaya kahit gaano kagulo ang paligid, may pag-asa tayo. Because Jesus lives, we can face whatever tomorrow brings. The  peace that He gives is not based on perfect circumstances. It is based on a perfect Savior who defeated the grave. So when doubts creep in, when life gets overwhelming, remember this: peace didn’t die on the cross — it rose with Jesus. 

Let’s focus on the Lord Jesus who triumphed over sin and death. Ngayong Resurrection Sunday, let’s celebrate because Jesus is alive, and His  peace reigns in our hearts!
