Dati, kapag sinabing planner, ito ay iyong mga notebook o journal na sinusulatan natin ng appointments at deadlines. These days, planners can mean apps that help with productivity and time management. Puwede ring wedding planner at events planner ― mga tao o grupong nagma-manage ng ating special occasions ― from styling to guest lists to entertainment, you name it. Whichever we refer to when we say planner, alam nating makakatulong ito para maging organized ang ating araw, ang ating buhay.

Sadyang may mga tao talagang mahilig magplano. Lista dito, lista doon ng goals to achieve, diet plans, people to send emails to, and things to buy. These are the people who spend hours researching and planning their itineraries each time they travel. On the dot ang schedule kapag nagbibiyahe ― from the spots they want to visit to the train routes they will take. Talaga namang nakakatulong ang magplano. And having a plan B prevents us from being caught unaware kapag hindi nangyari ang inaasahan natin.

However, there are times when God has something else planned. Even if we already laid out plans A-Z, God sometimes sends us plot twists that we never saw coming. ‘Yung akala nating na-foresee at na-prepare na natin ang lahat ng possible scenario, heto at may ibibigay si God that even our wildest imagination wasn’t able to predict.  But the good news is, God always wants the best for us. Things may not go the way we planned them, but God says, “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts” (Isaiah 55:8-9, NIV).
