Praying Moment by Moment
Napansin ni Tetay na before they start any meeting, sandaling mawawala si Julie.
“Pray? Talaga? Ah, ang galing naman! Puwede pala ‘yun?” namamanghang nasabi ni Tetay.
We are often busy and only pray before we sleep or in an emergency. But Jesus’ example of retreating to a quiet place to pray is worth following. He teaches the power of praying moment by moment. We can pray to the Lord anytime because our direct line to Him is open 24/7. Isn’t that reassuring?
An intimate connection with the Lord develops through every single prayer. The more we talk to Him and the more we read the Bible, the more we know who He is and what He desires for our lives. Also, quiet moments with Him allow us to refresh our souls, refocus our thoughts, and recalibrate our actions.
LET’S PRAY
Lord, I am so thankful that I can come to you any time of the day and You will hear me. May You speak so clearly that I have no excuse but to listen to You. It is a privilege to have an audience with You and it is an honor to call You “My Lord.” Amen.
