Ang tao ang nagbabalak, ngunit si Yahweh ang nagpapatupad.

Mga Kawikaan 16:9

It is easier for us to follow God’s plan when we see His light shine in a dark place. But what if everything is going well, and He asks us to get out of that comfort zone?

This happened to Elie. For months, he had been praying for a better source of income, good working environment, and more time to spend with his growing family. Then nagkaroon siya ng apat na clients online at mababait ang kanyang mga katrabaho. The only concern he had was the heavy volume of work. He continued praying for the samerequests. One day, a friend offered him a job. But since Elie was already doing well financially, he opted to pass this opportunity to others. Eventually, another person got the job. After a week, the man was fired, and the job was again offered to Elie. He then saw that this might be God answering his prayer. True enough, when Elie got the job, they paid him triple the amount he was expecting. The team was supportive, and his co-workers were approachable. The company also values mental health and family, which is why they are giving him an extra day off.

Marami tayong plano sa buhay, at minsan, ang hirap sumunod kay God lalo na’t hindi natin nakikita kung ano ang mangyayari in the future. But Elie’s story is a good reminder that God holds our future. May mga pagkakataon na nami-miss out natin iyong opportunities na binibigay ni Lord, pero fear not, dahil God is gracious enough to give us a second chance.
