Subalit sinabi sa kanya ni Jesus, “Anak, pinagaling ka ng iyong pananampalataya. Umuwi ka na at ipanatag mo ang iyong kalooban. Ikaw ay magaling na.”

When the doctor says there’s no more cure, when your loved one leaves you, when the bank tells you that you need to vacate the house, or when all hope seems lost — kanino ka lalapit? Kanino ka hihingi ng tulong?

We’ve all had rock-bottom moments in our lives. Normal ang magkaroon ng matitinding problema at pagkabigo. But in moments like these, know that you can come to God. You can reach out your hand to Him. 

That is what the bleeding woman in Mark 5:25–34 did. For twelve years, she suffered. She looked for a cure but couldn’t find one. Tinagurian siyang “unclean” and was treated like an outcast by everybody. She felt alone and miserable at kung iisipin mo, everything in her life might have given her enough reason to give up. Yet, in her last attempt to be healed, she held on to faith.

Or more specifically, hinawakan niya ang laylayan ng damit ni Jesus. Matapang siyang lumapit kahit na it was against the Jewish law. She braved her way through a big crowd, which could have killed her because she’s unclean. And when she approached Jesus, she was healed. Instantly!  

Naging desperado ang babaeng dinudugo sa kagalingan na alam niyang si Lord lang ang makakapagbigay. She took a step of faith and God answered.
