Paano naman sila tatawag sa kanya kung hindi sila sumasampalataya? Paano sila sasampalataya kung wala pa silang napakinggan tungkol sa kanya? Paano naman sila makakapakinig kung walang mangangaral sa kanila?

Kahit na set more than 2,000 years ago ang Bible, applicable pa rin ang stories ng characters nito sa panahon natin ngayon. Kaya naman, hindi nakakapagtaka na kapag meron tayong pinagdadaanan, we can look through the Scriptures for similar stories and search for God’s promises na puwede nating panghawakan.

We love hearing stories from others. Natutuwa at nai-inspire tayo kapag nakakarinig ng mga kuwento ng paghihirap na nagtatapos sa tagumpay. We laugh and cry as we relate with other people’s stories especially kapag dumadaan din tayo sa katulad na difficulties and challenges.  

Sadly, not everyone goes to the Bible to look for God’s help. Maraming tao ang hindi pa nakakakilala kay Jesus at sa Kanyang pangakong ever-present help in times of trouble.

Bilang Christians, our lives are filled with stories of God’s faithfulness and goodness. We have amazing stories of how God strengthened our faith, and brought us healing and victory. Kahit sa maliliit na pangyayari sa buhay natin, we can surely find God’s hand at work. These are the stories that can bring hope to someone else who might be going through the same problems. Ang sabi sa 2 Corinthians 1:4 (NLT), “He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others. When they are troubled, we will be able to give them the same comfort God has given us.”

When we share our stories, we let people know about Jesus, the living hope. So let us not be ashamed of sharing our stories and pointing to Him. Everybody needs to know about the love that also saved us and brought us hope that can never be taken away.
