We look up to people who have achieved great success, power, fame, at wealth.

As Christians, what are we supposed to do with success? With influence and riches? Are these things just for us? After all kung tayo naman ang naghirap at nagtrabaho, then why not?

Those who are great are called to humility and service. Ang leader ang siyang magsisilbi (Luke 22:26).

Mahirap, di ba? Kasi in the world, those who are on top, sila ang pinagsisilbihan. Doon tayo nasanay. But the Lord calls us to a new way of thinking. We leverage our victories and gains to be better servants. Our blessings aren’t just for us; para rin ito sa mga taong nakapalibot sa atin.

Our old sinful nature is selfish kaya mahirap ang mindset na ito. But every time may resistance tayo to serve, especially kapag may naabot na tayo, let us remember that when we believed in Jesus, He made us new (2 Corinthians 5:17). Kaya Jesus, our Lord and Savior, who came to serve (Matthew 20:28), will also enable us to serve Him and others.
