Pag may nakita kang notification sa social media mo, nahahatak agad nito ang atensyon mo at before you know it, kailangan mo nang pumasok sa office. This is a trap by the enemy. Pagkatapos mong makaligtaan ang time mo with God, you feel guilty, leading you to procrastinate on the very things that you need to do. It becomes a vicious cycle. You need to stop.

Sabi sa Philippians 4:13 (ESV), “I can do all things through him who strengthens me.” Humingi ka ng strength sa Kanya to avoid the temptation of spending all your time on social media, streaming platforms, at video games.

According to 1 Peter 5:8 (ESV), “Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.” You need to be vigilant. Umiwas ka na at the first sign of temptation. Be conscious sa pag-iwas and you will be successful.

Lastly, ito ang advice ng Proverbs 16:3 (ESV), “Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established.” Make a plan to stop these habits. Ipagkatiwala mo ito kay God. Ask the Holy Spirit to help you to be disciplined and committed to putting God first.
