Sapagkat batid kong lubos ang mga plano ko para sa inyo; mga planong hindi ninyo ikakasama kundi para sa inyong ikabubuti. Ito’y mga planong magdudulot sa inyo ng kinabukasang punung-puno ng pag-asa.

God has a powerful promise to us. Even when we feel that our world is falling apart, God is in control and has a good plan for us. Sinabi Niya sa mga Israelita na ang plano Niya para sa kanila ay mabuti. Kung paano Niya tinupad ang pangakong iyan sa Israel, ganoon din Niya tinutupad ito sa buhay ng mga nananampalataya sa Kanyang anak na si Jesus. This is why Jesus tells us not to be anxious about anything but to rely on God who fully provides, even for the birds that are worth far less than people (Matthew 6:25–26).

Lulu was born in poverty. In her young mind, she vowed to change the family’s impoverished situation. But her journey to education was marked by hardship. Consequently, she left school and worked as domestic helper abroad. Unfortunately, she was physically and sexually abused by her employer. In her misery, she sought God and was found by Him. She accepted Jesus in her life, and she experienced a changed life. With faith and hard work, Lulu became successful. God also gave her a husband. As God prospers the couple, Lulu helps children of poor families continue with their education and achieve their dreams. But more than a good life, God gave Lulu what she needed most: her salvation from sin.

This is God’s greatest plan — eternal salvation for us. Key to this plan is the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. We were separated from God when sin entered the world through the disobedience of Adam and Eve. Sa pagkamatay at muling pagkabuhay ng Anak ng Diyos na si Jesus, binayaran Niya ang ating kasalanan at naging posible na ma-reconcile tayo kay God. To experience the fulfillment of God’s plan of salvation for us, we must repent of our sins, believe in Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, and accept His forgiveness.
