All this time, she was confident na makakapasok siya.

A cancelled vacation? A delayed flight? A failed job interview?

It can be very disappointing, di ba? We love planning the details of our lives, and when something doesn’t go according to plan, kalimitan ay madali tayo maapektuhan emotionally. And while we can’t always explain why such disheartening things happen, we can always find comfort from God’s Word kung paano natin dapat i-deal ang ating disappointments.

The Bible tells us na sa kabila ng marami nating goals sa buhay, ultimately, ang plano at kalooban pa rin ni Lord ang magaganap. We may think we made the best plans, pero si Lord ang higit na may alam ng kung ano ang makabubuti para sa atin. Minsan, nakakalimutan nating mag-consult kay Lord before making plans. We end up deciding based on our emotions and impulses.

Why not try praying for your dreams and goals before plotting them? God is sovereign, and He is the source of all wisdom. And because we know that God is good, we can also trust that wherever He leads us will always be good. Even if it may look like a closed door or a disappointing circumstance, we can still hope for the best. So, cheer up! God’s working behind the scenes. Soon, you’ll see His good, pleasing, and perfect plan for you.

We hope that you’ve been inspired with our short series, “Proverbs and Plans,” to always seek God first in everything. And we hope to see you again tomorrow!
