Sapagkat sinabi ng Diyos, “Hindi kita iiwan ni pababayaan man.”

Have you ever felt lonely? Feeling mo hindi ka maka-connect sa paligid mo? Or is there something inside you that keeps making you feel alone and lonely? This is most likely the encouragement you need today. Hindi lang ikaw ang nakaramdam nito.

Alam ni God the Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit ang nasa puso natin lalo na ang need nating kumunekta sa ibang tao. He created us as relational beings. Kaya nga habang pinagmamasdan Nila si Adam sa Garden of Eden sinabi Nila na, “It’s not good for man to be alone.” So God gave Adam a helpmate, whom Adam named Eve. 

Jesus Himself knows what it means to be alone and lonely. Isipin mo, Jesus, who is sinless, had to live in this world full of sin. Wala Siyang napagsabihan ng naramdaman Niya kundi His dear Father in Heaven. That’s why He always made time to commune and connect with God. There are times when Jesus would leave the crowd and go by Himself to a mountain to pray to Him (Luke 5:15-16; 6:12; Matthew 14:23).

Marahil nasa point ka ng buhay mo na ikaw na lang ang single sa paligid mo, at lahat ay nag-asawa na. Maybe you’re unable to relate to the people around you. Pakiramdam mo mag-isa ka na lang and you fear that this feeling of loneliness will last forever. Kaibigan, God sees you and meets you where you are right now. His promise to those who trust in His Son is this: “I will never leave you nor forsake you” (Hebrews 13:5b). May I invite you to believe this promise?
