Kaya ni Lord Mag-isa
Thank you for tuning in again for our series “Sharing the Good News”. Do you realize that there are many good reasons why we’ve been called to share the gospel? Listen and find out.
1 Samuel 5:4
Sa 19th century poem ni Annie Johnson Flint na “The World’s Bible” (which was also made into a hymn by a few composers), she wrote these words: “Christ has no hands but our hands, To do His Work today; He has no feet but our feet, To lead men in His way.” However, in 1 Samuel 5:1-7:2, we see that God didn’t need the help of His people to carry out His plan. God fought the enemies of His people without their help. In the same way, God can carry out His will by His own power.
Pero bakit Niya tayo tinawag to proclaim the Good News (Matthew 28:18-20) kung hindi Niya tayo kailangan? It’s because now that we’re saved, we are the light of the world, to declare the wonderful acts of God (Isaiah 49:6; Matthew 5:14; 1 Peter 2:9). If we will not respond to God’s call, we will miss our purpose in life (Ephesians 2:10), at magiging walang saysay ang buhay natin.
The Lord is inviting us to be part of His great plan not only for humanity, but for the whole creation (Romans 8:19-21). Bukod sa maraming rewards, magiging part din tayo ng Kanyang ultimate victory against evil, at makakasama natin Siya for eternity. And the fact na hindi Niya tayo kailangan should give us hope na kahit pumalpak, matisod, o makasira tayo, we know na hindi nito maaapektuhan ang pag-fulfill ng plano ni Lord.
Everyone is called to share the Good News of Jesus. If you think you’re called to do this, don’t miss our devotional tomorrow.
LET’S PRAY
Lord, I want to be part of Your plans. Thank You for enabling me to serve You. I pray this in Jesus’ name.
