We all desire a good life. We make plans and we diligently chase after our goals. Some easily attain their aspirations while others seem to be chasing after the wind. Their dreams remain elusive.

Kung bigo kayo sa pag-abot ng inyong mga pangarap, maaaring hindi iyon kalooban ng Diyos. Meron Siyang higit na magandang plano para sa inyo. Ask God for wisdom and direction. James 1:5 (NKJV) states, “If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him.”

Husband and wife Orly and Regie dreamt of a good life. Nagtungo sila ng Middle East at nagnegosyo ng walang kaukulang dokumento. They were enjoying the fulfillment of their dream until they were caught. Authorities closed their business and confiscated their equipment. With nowhere else to go and nothing else to do to earn a living, they prayed to God for wisdom and direction. They realized that running their business illegally did not please God. Kaya nagdesisyon ang mag-asawa na mamuhay nang matuwid. They restarted their business the legal way and God prospered it.   

Our dreams of having a comfortable life, a successful career or business, and a happy family must be aligned with God’s plans and purposes. They must lead to authentic love for God and others, peace with one another, helping those in need, and bringing lost souls to His Kingdom.

All these constitute life’s greatest pursuit; it’s godliness that far outweighs difficulties in life. Sabi ng ni Apostle Paul sa 2 Mga Taga-Corinto 4:17, “Ang bahagya at panandaliang kapighatiang dinaranas namin ngayon ay magbubunga ng kagalakang walang hanggan at walang katulad.”
