Pagod na pagod na sila ngunit patuloy pa rin …

Are you on the verge of giving up? Pagod ka na ba sa buhay? Do you feel tired and worn out from fighting battles na parang walang katapusan?

Challenge after challenge — ‘yan din ang naranasan nina Gideon and 300 men with him when they defeated the Midianites in Judges chapter 7. Pero hindi ‘dun nagtapos ang kuwento. After defeating 135,000 Midianites, kailangan pa nilang habulin ang kings na nakatakas! Imagine how exhausting that was.

Hindi tayo exempted sa naramdaman nina Gideon na battle fatigue. Katulad nila, napapagod din tayo from fighting a sickness, waiting for an answered prayer, or even solving one problem after another. Minsan, napapasabi na lang talaga tayo ng, “Lord, ayoko na! Pagod na ako. Suko na ako.” 

If you are going through this situation, God wants to encourage you with how He delivered Gideon and his men in the story. Pagod na pagod man sila, they persevered and eventually, they finished God’s task victoriously.

Was it because of their might? No. They were at a disadvantage in number and strength, but it highlighted how strong God is. Ganoon din Siya sa buhay mo.

If you feel like giving up, God encourages you to surrender your battles to Him. He will not let you lose. Hindi ka Niya pababayaan o iiwan. As you continue the fight, He will give you new strength and hope that soon, battles will be over. Magtiwala ka lang sa Kanya. He is greater than anything!
