Welcome back sa ating refreshing series this week called “Love the Word of God.” Let’s listen now to the Word of God.

We cannot be selective with the Bible, picking and choosing only the “sweet words” that make us happy. Minsan, kailangan natin ng “bitter words” — serious reminders, rebukes, and calls to repent. Sabi nga ni Apostle Paul, “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness” (2 Timothy 3:16, NIV). Remember: ALL Scripture, not SOME Scripture. Kaya halika, buksan na ang iyong Biblia!

We all need the Word of God because it serves as a reminder, rebuke, correction, and training for us. Kaya here’s a reminder: Tune in again tomorrow for the last part of our series “Love the Word of God.”

LET’S PRAY

Lord, tulungan po Ninyo ako na ma-develop ang discipline of Bible reading. Tunay nga po na Your Word gives strength and nourishment to my spirit.

APPLICATION

May passage ba ng Bible na struggle para sa iyo na basahin? Ito ba ay boring, mabigat, o mahirap intindihin? Maybe now is the time to read that part. Pray and ask the Holy Spirit for guidance as you do so. What is God trying to tell you with this passage?
