Thank you for being with us once again for our series “God Loves You”. Alam n’yo ba ang iba’t ibang paraan ng pagsasabi ng “I love you?” Tara, alamin natin.

Nawa’y manatili si Cristo sa inyong mga puso sa pamamagitan ng inyong pananalig. Dalangin ko na ang pag-ibig ang maging ugat at pundasyon sa lahat ng inyong gawain upang inyong lubusang maunawaan, kasama ng mga hinirang ng Diyos, kung gaano kalawak, kahaba, kataas, at kalalim ang kanyang pag-ibig.

Mga Taga-Efeso 3:17–18

Je t’aime. Te amo. Saranghae. Gihigugma tika. Ay-ayaten ka. Iba’t ibang lengguwahe pero iisa lang ang sinasabi. Simple lang ang ibig sabihin: “I love you.” Masarap pakinggan when your significant other whispers “I love you” or “Saranghae” to you. Nakakakilig! But did you know that God describes His love to us in different ways, and we can read about it in His love letter, the Bible?

When referring to the country Israel, God said, “I have loved you with an everlasting love. That is why I have continued to be faithful to you” (Jeremiah 31:3 NET). Sabi pa Niya, “You are precious and special in my sight and I love you” (Isaiah 43:4 NET).

One time, when Jesus was talking to His disciples, He said, “I have loved you just as the Father has loved Me; remain in My love [and do not doubt My love for you]” (John 15:9 AMP). Jesus loved not only His followers while He was here on earth but also all those who have placed their trust in Him today. If you believe in Jesus, then believe that He loves you too. Huwag nating pagdudahan ang love Niya!

Kaya hindi lang asawa mo ang bumubulong ng “Saranghae,” “Gihigugma tikma,” o “Ay-ayaten ka” sa iyo. God loves you very much. He is saying “I love you” to you too!
