Mula noon at hanggang ngayon, God invites His people to spread the gospel. In every season, every generation, people need to know that we have a living hope through Jesus Christ (1 Peter 1:3–6). And we won‘t know this truth now, if no one shared this to us. Kaya paghihikayat ni Apostle Paul sa lahat ng mananampalataya, “How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them?” (Romans 10:14).

Meet Philip, the evangelist. Need ng lider sa food distribution para sa mga biyuda sa church? Isa si Philip na napili at tumugon sa ministry (Acts 6:1–6). May persecution sa followers ni Christ, kaya‘t na-scatter sila at ipinahayag ang gospel (Acts 8:1)? Isa si Philip dito at napunta sa Samaria. Nag-share siya ng gospel, nagpagaling ng mga lumpo, and he cast out demons (Acts 8:4–7). Someone needs help to understand the Book of Isaiah? Philip reached out to the Ethiopian high official, shared the good news, and baptized him (Acts 8:26–39). At sa mga lugar na pinuntahan niya ay ipinahayag ni Phillip ang gospel (Acts 8:40). The people were overjoyed! (Acts 8:8; 39).

Earlier today, you read a social media post of a friend who needs to be comforted by God‘s love. God is asking, “Sino ang Aking ipadadala?” Meron kang katrabaho na nawawalan ng pag-asa. God is asking, “Sino ang Aking ipadadala?” May ministry na kailangan ng workers to minister to the poor. God is asking, ‘Sino ang Aking ipadadala?”

“The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few” (Matthew 9:37). Will you be a “Philip” today, who like prophet Isaiah, responded to God’s call, “Narito po ako; ako ang Inyong isugo!”
