Have you ever heard any motivational speaker or life coach say na upang magtagumpay sa buhay, you need to push yourself forward at manatili sa “unahan” ng lahat ng bagay? While this can be an encouragement for some, the Bible tells us otherwise. Kung gusto mo magkaroon ng buhay na may impact, purpose, at deeper meaning, you need to stay behind quality people — people who are righteous, wise, and have integrity.

Kumbaga sa hiking, para hindi ka maligaw, get behind someone who knows the track. Manatili ka sa likuran ng mga taong natuto at naging wise dahil sa kanilang experience sa buhay. Gaya ng seasoned hikers, they can provide a “heads up” when the path becomes tricky and it’s time to slow down.

Manatili ka sa likuran ng taong mahal ang Diyos at hindi lumalayo sa Kanyang mga utos. Someone who can inspire you and will help you grow in faith because they know God’s law by heart. Someone who has a strong character and cares enough to correct you when you are on the wrong path. With a humble heart, manatili ka sa likuran ng isang mentor, spiritual leader, o kaibigan na yayakapin ka nang may pagmamahal patungo sa tamang landas.

You need a “seasoned hiker” to guide you in navigating this trail called life. Get behind someone who has successfully braved life’s wilderness because that person makes a great trail guide.
