Ang “taympers” ay pinaiksing Pinoy version ng “time out first.” Sometimes we feel like we’re running on empty at parang wala na tayong kakayahang magpatuloy pa.

Our first line of defense is to ask for the Lord’s help, after all, one of His promises is that He will give us rest when we need it (Exodus 33:14; Psalm 23:2–3). But here’s an uncomfortable truth: The world doesn’t stop just because we can’t cope or we’re hurting. Minsan, may mga responsibilidad tayong kailangang gampanan that cannot just wait. But there is also a comforting truth: We can rely on the Lord for help. And He can give us a sense of peace (Juan 16:33).

He won’t fail you, especially when you need Him the most.

LET’S PRAY

Lord, napaka-overwhelming na ng sitwasyon ko. Pero alam ko na nangako Kayo that You will never leave nor forsake Your people. Kini-claim ko ngayon ang pangako na iyon.

APPLICATION

Is it strength? Wisdom? Peace? Panghawakan mo ang Isaiah 41:10; James 1:5; John 16:33; and Jeremiah 31:25. Wait to see how the Lord will work and shift the situation to your favor.
