Si Yahweh ay nagagalak sa kanyang mga hirang, sa mga mapagpakumbabá’y tagumpay ang ibibigay.

Mga Awit 149:4

Naranasan mo na bang sumali sa isang contest? Doesn’t it feel good kapag naririnig mo ang cheers ng mga tao? Iba ang dating at confidence boost kapag alam mong maraming sumusuporta at naniniwala sa kakayahan mo ‘di ba?

Hindi lang sa contests or games natin kailangan ng support, kundi sa araw-araw din nating pamumuhay. Life is sometimes hard but having someone to help us through it makes the challenges in life easier to overcome. Sino pa ba ang better supporter than the Author of Life Himself, ‘di ba?

Sabi sa Mga Awit 149:4, “Si Yahweh ay nagagalak sa kanyang mga hirang, sa mga mapagpakumbabá’y tagumpay ang ibibigay.”

We cannot win by ourselves pero kung iha-humble natin ang sarili natin before Almighty God, we become victors. The Lord delights in us and even cheers for us. Aside from that, hindi lang Siya nagchi-cheer from the sidelines, He even goes with us in everything that we have to go through. Sure winner tayo sa anumang pagsubok—broken relationships, poverty, sickness, o anupaman—dahil kasama natin Siya.

Kung minsan feeling natin walang naniniwala sa atin, we can rest assured na hindi ganoon si Lord. He is proud of who He created us to be. He even rejoices over us with singing (Zephaniah 3:17).

Can we pause for a while and meditate on that awesome truth? God is overjoyed, He can’t help but sing in His love for us. The God of the infinite universe rejoices in who we are.
