Dahil siya’y puspos ng pag-ibig, naranasan natin ang masaganang kagandahang-loob ng Diyos.

Juan 1:16

A few months before the graduation of her three children, Belle requested something from God: a family vacation in Baguio. She knew it was going to be a big expense, considering transportation, lodging, and pocket money for their family of five. Pero gusto talaga niyang regaluhan ang mga anak niya ng bakasyon, so she confidently prayed for God‘s favor.

She was just looking for a room to rent, when she learned that her husband‘s relative has a condominium unit in Baguio. Kahit wala pa siyang ready na cash, she believed that God would give her favor. She inquired if they could rent the place. Not only was the condominium available, but the charge for them was a very minimal amount since kamag-anak sila. But the favor didn‘t stop there. Another relative lent them his fuel card so they could gas up for the long trip, while another gave them enough spending money. Kaya naman tuwang-tuwa si Belle! Pagkatapos ng graduation ng tatlo niyang anak, nakapagbakasyon sila sa Baguio, gaya ng hiniling niya sa Panginoon.

Our God is such a generous God. He extends His grace to us through His Son Jesus. The Amplified Bible translates John 1:16 this way: “For out of His fullness [the superabundance of His grace and truth] we have all received grace upon grace [spiritual blessing upon spiritual blessing, favor upon favor, and gift heaped upon gift].” And His grace is not just reserved for a few people, but for anyone who receives His Son Jesus Christ.
