Muling nagsalita si Jesus sa mga Pariseo. Sinabi niya, “Ako ang ilaw ng sanlibutan. Ang sumusunod sa akin ay magkakaroon ng ilaw sa kanyang buhay at di na lalakad sa kadiliman.”

Nasubukan mo na bang pumunta sa isang field na puno ng sunflowers? You’d probably be amazed dahil makikita mo ang mga ito turning toward the sun in a process called heliotropism. Ayon sa scientists, the genes responsible for this movement respond to light.

Kung iisipin, sunflowers emit a positive vibe—turning toward the light and turning its back from darkness. This is something we could probably learn a thing or two from, lalo na kung humaharap tayo sa mga pagsubok ng buhay.

It is indeed true na madilim ang mundo dahil sa kasalanan. We are even prone to wander at kabilaan ang temptations na ating nararanasan. However, we don’t lose heart. God’s Word gives us assurance that whenever we face dark times, He serves as our light.

Sabi sa Juan 8:12, “Muling nagsalita si Jesus sa mga Pariseo. Sinabi niya, ‘Ako ang ilaw ng sanlibutan. Ang sumusunod sa akin ay magkakaroon ng ilaw sa kanyang buhay at di na lalakad sa kadiliman.’”

Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the Light of the world, and turn toward Him at all times. Armed with faith, let us shine brightly with joy and love, knowing na anuman ang ating pagdaanan, He will never let us be consumed by darkness.
