Apostle Paul encourages us in 1 Corinthians 15:58 (AMP) “Therefore, my beloved brothers and sisters, be steadfast, immovable, always excelling in the work of the Lord [always doing your best and doing more than is needed], being continually aware that your labor [even to the point of exhaustion] in the Lord is not futile nor wasted [it is never without purpose].” Puwedeng ibinigay mo na ang lahat — blood, sweat, and tears to the point of exhaustion para kay Lord pero fail pa din. But the verse says walang sayang because He will always grow your work for His purpose.

There may be times when we feel we lost it all but God’s bigger picture for our lives is not lost. Paano kung na-delete ang lahat ng pinagpaguran mo, back to zero? Huwag ka na ma-stress, you can just pray, “Lord, ulitin natin, ha.” And you will be amazed sa mas maganda pang kalalabasan because it is God’s reward to prosper your work for Him. We are humbled and lifted as He makes our work bear much fruit (1 Corinthians 3:5–7).

LET’S PRAY

Father God, I commit to You all the work of my hands. Help me, dear Holy Spirit, to work joyfully and excellently for You. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

APPLICATION

Review your projects, articles, or business plans. Ask the Lord for wisdom on how best to do them. And for grace if He asks you to make changes or even redo the whole thing.
