Magbago na kayo ng diwa at pag-iisip; at ang dapat ninyong isuot ay ang bagong pagkatao na nilikhang kalarawan ng Diyos, at nahahayag sa matuwid at banal na pamumuhay ayon sa katotohanan.

Nakapanood ka na ba ng bag raid? Many celebrities and famous personalities make videos of themselves showing what’s inside their bags. Dito, nakakakuha ng insight ang viewers tungkol sa bag raider: Is the person fond of designer brand items? Is she like a girl scout who couldn’t leave the house without a first-aid kit? Techie na maraming gadgets na bitbit?

Sometimes, unexpected discoveries have been made during these bag raids. For instance, nakakakita siya ng expired na products or things that haven’t been used for a long time. Hindi na nga useful ang items, nakakadagdag pa sa weight ng bag na kailangan buhatin.

Sa simula ng 2022, it’s a good idea na mag-inventory tayo ng ating mga sarili. Do we have hurt feelings that we have been carrying for many years, or even decades? Are we nursing any bitterness, envy, or anger?  Mabigat dalhin ang mga bagay na ito, and we might feel na mahirap o imposible itong tanggalin from our lives. 

Be encouraged in the knowledge that we don’t have to solely rely on ourselves to get rid of all these unnecessary baggage. According to 2 Corinthians 3:17-18, when we turn to God, He will change us, and slowly, in time, we will become more like Him. This new year, let’s claim to see the new, better person — with less baggage — He wants us to be.
