Isaias 43:18

If you are familiar with the song, “Tell Me” ng Side A, it’s about a lover questioning himself/herself kung saan siya nagkamali that resulted sa break up nila ng kanyang ka-relasyon.

Some of us are like that. We tend to question ourselves after a bitter break-up, a failed promotion, a family separation, and many more heartbreaking situations in life. Gusto nating malaman kung saan at kung sino ang nagkamali sa sitwasyon because we have this need to justify our actions.

We move on. Because there is still tomorrow, because there is hope.

We can move on by believing that Jesus Christ died on the cross to save us from our own mistakes. Tayo ay napapawalang-sala by grace through faith in the Lord Jesus (Mga Taga-Efeso 2:8–9; Mga Taga-Galacia 2:15–16). That’s why when we believe in Jesus, our past hurts, failures, and mistakes no longer define us. Mahirap man ang journey to healing after brokenness, makakaasa tayong tutuparin ng Diyos ang Kanyang magandang plano sa ating buhay (Mga Taga-Roma 8:28).

Don’t stay in the past. Now, there is hope in Jesus Christ! May bagong simula sa Kanya (2 Mga Taga-Corinto 5:17). Let go of the past that keeps pulling you down and hold on to Jesus and a new beginning.

LET’S PRAY

Dear Jesus, I am not proud of what I have done in the past. Marami po akong naging pagkakamali and I know that I have hurt people. Right now, I need You. Help me become a better person than yesterday. Thank You, Lord.
