Walang sinuman sa atin ang nabubuhay o namamatay para sa kanyang sarili lamang. Kung tayo’y nabubuhay, sa Panginoon tayo nabubuhay; at kung tayo’y namamatay, sa Panginoon tayo namamatay. Kaya nga, sa mabuhay o sa mamatay, tayo’y sa Panginoon.

Perhaps you’ve already heard of the phrase, “You only live once.” Madalas nating marinig ito as some people’s ticket to doing the most dangerous, adrenaline-inducing activities, or even life decisions. Dahil isang beses lang tayong mabubuhay, let’s make the best out of it daw.

Katulad ng kung paano tayong nabubuhay ng minsang lang, we are also destined to die once. Ang sabi sa Hebrews 9:27 (NIV), “Just as we are destined to die once, and after that to face judgment.” When that time comes, there will be no turning back. At our deaths, we will be confronted with the effect of the choices we made in this life we only lived once.

Where we go — heaven or hell — will be determined by who we lived our life for. The good news is hindi katulad ng insurance or saving up for the future, making this decision is totally free. Ang dapat mo lang gawin ay ibigay ang buong puso at buhay mo to the only Way to heaven — kay Jesus.

Kapag nag-commit ka to live your life for Jesus, you also choose to receive His saving love, mercy, and grace. Sa desisyong ito, you also commit to live a life aligned to His purpose and beautiful plans.

Since isang beses lang ang buhay na ito, wouldn’t you like to live it abundantly and fully for God, who makes life really worth living?
