Sipsip kasi ‘yan.”

Mahirap mang i-admit, pero envy is a common sin that we commit. For instance, instead of being happy for others, it steals our own joy of living. At sa halip na mag-aspire tayo to dream bigger and do better, we lose our own motivation as we watch others succeed in life.

Here are some tips to help us overcome this struggle:

  1. Confess. Admitting we have envy in our hearts is never easy but it’s the first step of surrendering it to God.
  2. Say No to Comparison. Stop looking at others’ blessings and putting yourself down. Cheer for them instead and celebrate your own victories.
  3. Trust God. Remember that He is bigger than our sins. He forgives and transforms us through the power of the Holy Spirit.

Yes, our God is bigger than envy!
