Nang gabing iyon, dinala kay Jesus ang maraming mga sinasapian ng demonyo. Sa isang salita lamang ay pinalayas niya ang masasamang espiritu at pinagaling lahat ng may karamdaman.

Mateo 8:16

Sa tuwing may nangyayari sa ating masama, ang bilis nating sisihin ang ibang tao, ang ating sarili, at si God. Pero bakit bihira nating maisip na maaring scheme ito ng enemy?

Many of us think of the devil in one of these two ways:

1. We underestimate his schemes — Iyong masyado nating minamaliit ang kaya niyang gawin. The enemy came into this world to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), and he is serious about it. So we have to be aware and devise a plan kung paano natin haharapin ang mga atake niya.
2. We overestimate his antics — Iyong feeling natin, sobrang powerful niya na kinatatakutan natin siya. Pero sa totoo lang, ni wala siya sa level ng power ni God. Not even close! Even the man possessed by a demon bowed to Jesus (Mark 5:6). The devil can only do illusions of power but our God is the only One who can do a real miracle. Gaya nung dinala kay Jesus iyong mga sinasapian ng demonyo. He did not only cast out the demons, He even performed the miracle of healing that night (Matthew 8:16).

God’s power is limitless. At ang magandang balita pa, ang kapangyarihang ito ay ipinamana Niya sa atin na mga anak Niya. Sabi ni Jesus, “Look, I have given you authority over all the power of the enemy … Nothing will injure you” (Luke 10:19 NLT). So in Jesus’ name, we can cast out demons!

LET’S PRAY

Lord, I praise You for You are powerful. You help me face the attacks of the enemy. Thank You for always protecting me and even giving me the authority to cast them out. I am so amazed by You!
