Take Me to a Place Called Peace
Where can we truly find that place of peace? Let’s find out in the last part of our series, “A Place Called Peace.”
Juan 14:27
Sa fast-paced at maingay na mundo, may lugar pa ba talaga where we can experience peace? ‘Yung tipong hayahay o kumportable at walang problema, parang paradise where you can sleep anytime, anywhere without being bothered. ‘Yung place where only good things are happening. ‘Yung sitwasyon na walang complications at hang-ups. Hay. Where could that be?
How we wish na everything around us is peaceful, di ba? But peace is not a place, it’s a state of mind. And yes, it’s true na we can have peace in a turbulent world. While we can engage in restful and peaceful activities like going on a vacation, watching movies, fellowshiping with our friends, or simply spending time alone, there is a kind of peace that goes with us even in challenging times.
The peace of God hits different than the peace this world can offer. His peace is there to stay lalo na sa panahong magulo at maingay ang sitwasyon mo.
This world may define peace in the form of a financial insurance, a harmonious relationship, a quiet and serene place, the absence of war, the absence of poverty, and the safety of our chosen home in a nice neighborhood. But God’ peace transcends all understanding (Philippians 4:7).
